Appweb Open Source Download

The Appweb software is licensed under the GNU General Public License and is provided "as is" without any warranty. For community support for Appweb, please visit our online forum. If you require a commercial license, support or warranty for Appweb, please contact Embedthis Software.

The downloads include release notes, installation guide, product documentation and samples. You may view the documentation online. See also the Release Notes and the Installation Guide.

Which Release?

If you are going into production with your product soon, we recommend you use the latest stable release. If you are wanting to evaluate Appweb, try the development release. Older legacy releases are also provided.

Pre-built binary installs for Appweb are available for Linux on Intel x86-32, x64, Mac OSX on Intel and Windows x86-32. If you want to run Appweb on another architecture, please download the cross-platform source code and build from source.

Repository Source Code

The Appweb source code has been ported to several operating systems and supports many CPU architectures including: ARM, MIPS, i386/X86, PowerPC, SH and Sparc. If your desired operating system or CPU is not on the list, let us know and we may be able to assist you in porting the source code.

Development Release — Appweb 4.0.0

The development release is suitable for evaluation and early project development. It is not suitable for immediate production deployment. If your project has a long development cycle, basing your project on an Appweb development release may be suitable.
